Descriptive Text

Variable has been recoded from reported adult and child age and age ranges into three age categories. When only age range was provided, the midpoint of the range was assigned. The three categories are useful for analyzing data related to children, adults 18 to 64, and adults 65 and over. The universe for this variable includes all adults and children.
