PN_3. During your most recent pregnancy, how many weeks or months pregnant were you when you had your first visit for prenatal care?

Descriptive Text

This dichotomous variable was created using responses to question PN_3, to distinguish between women who received prenatal care on the 9th week of pregnancy or before, and women who received prenatal care later than the 9th week or did not receive prenatal care at all. The universe for this variable includes all female respondents age 18 to 50 who were pregnant at the time of the interview, or gave birth to a live baby in the last 5 years.
